This is a 1990 issue/edition AMG Black Bonded Leather New American Standard (NASB 1977 Version) Key Word Study Bible.  Good+ or Very Good- Binding solid throughout (in other words, the Bible is free of any seam separations, loose/torn pages, loose hinges, etc.).  While the presentation page has had it's entries whited out, the Bible pages themselves are free of any marks or notations.  The only other notable to call out is the first couple of pages have some line creases in them.   Picking up the Bible and thumbing through it you are impressed the Bible is certainly in good solid condition with aspects that are very good.  The current editions of this Bible are a large edition with a wide margin aspects.  While this is terrific for notes and at-home study, it can be a little bulky for taking.  The first edition of this Bible in the NASB has smaller dimensions measuring 9 3/8" x 6 1/4" x 1 3/4".  This is a more personal size (though certainly still having some fullness) for taking out with you.   This Study Bible is one of my favorites and would certainly be on my top 5 list of Study Bibles if stranded on a desert island.  The Key Word Study Bible was introduced in the mid 1980s by Dr. Spiros Zodhiates.  The intention was to give insights into the original Hebrew and Greek language by many of the most important and frequent words translated in Scripture and noting where these words are used by placing the Strong's number above the text.  In addition, because of Dr. Zodhiates background in the New Testament key notations of the verb tense are also noted.  In the back there is a dictionary of the definitions and nuances of how this word is translated.  It gives a LOT of additional insight into the Scriptures.  Of course the 1977 New American Standard is a revision of the 1901 American Standard Version for language and scholarship.  Many consider it among the most literal of the word-for-word English translation styles.  While the Thee's and Thou's are...
